4. Covid19

Cancellations and procedures during Covid19

We will review this section periodically.

At the moment all restrictions have been lifted in Scotland. We, however are taking some sensible precautions. We are still supplying hand gel, we will review this in the coming weeks.

If your instructor has any of the above they will inform you and reschedule your lesson.
Should you or your instructor show symptoms during the lesson, the lesson will be terminated immediately.

We will be guided by DVSA and the Scottish Government guidelines/rules/laws. These will change from time to time and will affect our Standard Operating Procedures. They will be subject to changes in line with advice given.

  • A separate charge is made for the use of our car for a driving test.
  • The client agrees to pay the cost of any penalty notices, uninsured damage to the vehicle and any other non-recoverable costs incurred during a driving test.

  • Tests can only be applied for and taken in our car if I agree that satisfactory progress has been made, and you are at ‘test standard’, or will be at ‘test standard’ when the test is taken. You must keep taking regular lessons leading up to test. These conditions are intended to save the client expense, unnecessary failure, and the consequent delay in waiting for another test and obtaining a full licence.

  • We have no responsibility if a test is cancelled by the DVSA. or if a pupil fails the eyesight test.
  • We will be responsible and reimburse you if the test is cancelled due to the condition of our vehicle. We will pay for your next test.
